Description
Radi-Cal R3 (formerly PRF660) from AP Racing is the ultimate high temperature racing brake fluid, featuring a dry boiling point of 320 degrees C which is higher than other leading brands. Radi-Cal R3 has advanced moisture resistant properties and low levels of viscosity for ease of bleeding. Radi-Cal R3 is suitable for all levels of motorsport where very high brake temperatures are experienced. Not to be mixed with other brake fluids. Any existing fluid should be drained from the system completely and it is recommended to flush the system with R3 before filling.

Servicing & Replacement Guide
AP Racing Radi-CAL R3 – Servicing Guide
Competition / Race Cars:
For maximum braking performance, bleed the braking system with fresh R3 before each race meeting, particularly where the brakes are exposed to high temperatures. Periodically perform a complete fluid replacement during the season, and replace the fluid following any significant overheating or suspected fluid boiling.
Track Day / Performance Vehicles:
For vehicles regularly used on track, we recommend replacing the fluid at least every 6–12 months, with additional bleeding or replacement before demanding track use depending on vehicle use and brake temperatures. For maximum performance, use fresh fluid from a sealed container.
Changing to R3:
R3 is compatible with other DOT 4 racing brake fluids, but AP Racing recommends thoroughly purging the braking system with R3 to obtain maximum performance.
Storage:
Keep containers tightly sealed and avoid unnecessarily exposing the fluid to atmosphere. AP Racing specifies an 18-month recommended shelf life for unopened bottles.
Typical boiling points:
Dry: 325°C
Wet: 195°C
